There are two main ways to book your travel through Yatra. You can use the website at Yatra.com, or their mobile app for Android, iOS and Windows Phone. They include all of the core features you need to make bookings with ease, and the Android app has a high rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars.
On either platform you will be greeted by a simple search form, defaulted to Flights. Here you can choose between a One Way, Round Trip or Multi-City flight, and enter your Origin, Destination, Depart and Return dates, and how many travellers will be flying. You can also choose the class of service (such as Economy or First Class etc).
Using the tabs you can find similar forms for Hotels, Holidays, Buses, Trains and Cruises. You can also book a package deal.
Once the information has been processed you will delivered all of the relevant results. You can then browse through these to see the specific details, and then easily carry through with the booking for the one you desire. Payment Methods
Yatra accepts a wide variety of payment methods for convenient online booking. You can use most Indian issued and international credit, debit and cash cards. This includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club. This can be done direct or through the RuPay payment platform. You can also use Net Banking with most major Indian banks.
If you wish to buy now and pay later, there is also the option to use Equated Monthly Instalments (EMI).

Collecting Tickets
Yatra are phasing out physical tickets and now almost exclusively deal in E-Tickets which will be available for print out within your online account under My Bookings. You will also be sent confirmation via email, with a link to your tickets. Other booking confirmation, such as hotels and transport, will also be sent to you via email for easy printing.
You can also print a booking invoice for your personal records.
If you do require traditional paper tickets they will be promptly couriered to you, even if you used Yatra coupons to pay for them.
Cancellations and Refunds
Although most airlines permit tickets to be changed, they will charge for this. The individual policy is determined by each airline and is not the responsibility of Yatra.
You can cancel a Yatra domestic flight booking from within your online account. You will be charged Rs. 150 to do so. You must do this no later than 24 hours before departure. International flights are the responsibility of the individual airline.
